Gerry Pate is a national award-winning photographer living in the upstate of South Carolina. His passion for the camera is lifelong, but Pate is most known for his thirty year career working professionally as a photojournalist for several southeastern U.S. newspapers. As a freelance contractor for events, news, performances, portraiture, and more, Pate has drawn on the reflexes of his photojournalist experience to deliver candid and spontaneous imagery to clients with a variety of needs.
